Refund policy

Overview
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags or labels attached, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@scaredycatstudio.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

After your return request has been approved, you must send back the item(s) within 14 days. We reserve the right to withhold your refund until we have received the returned items. You are responsible for arranging the return shipment and for all return shipping charges.

Damages and issues
Free return shipping may be granted in the case of incorrect or damaged orders, which are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Please keep in mind that while we take great care to make sure that our products are of high quality, most of our products are hand-made and/or hand-printed in a home studio and therefore may have slight variations from one product to the next, as well as minor aesthetic imperfections or flaws. Colors may also differ slightly from what you see on your screen. These do not count as errors or damage for the purposes of free return shipping and you will be required to pay shipping fees if you choose to return such a product. If you believe your product has a major flaw or damage, please email us at support@scaredycatstudio.com


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), mystery items that have been opened, online digital content that has been downloaded, perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), personal care goods (such as beauty products), or intimates (such as underwear or swimwear). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. Please allow us at least 7 days to process your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
